Meet the Coaches
Director: Brian Metz
This is Coach Metz's 5th summer as the Director of WOcademy. In addition to running Summer WOcademy, Coach Metz is the Boys Varsity Tennis Coach for West Ottawa.
Coach Metz played high school tennis at Comstock Park. He played tennis for Grand Rapids Community College as well. Coach Metz completed his undergraduate degree at Grand Valley State University with his Bachelors of Science in Physical Education K-12 Professional Instruction and a Minor in School Health Education.
Coach Metz has been with West Ottawa Public Schools for the past 5 years. Coach Metz has taught a variety of Physical Wellness Classes at the North High School, Harbor Lights, and Macatawa Bay. He currently teaches elementary physical wellness at Woodside Elementary, Pine Creek, and South Olive Christian Elementary.
