Racket Stringing

My son Landon and I (Pete Schwallier) string rackets.  Shoot me a text at (616)460-1882 whenever you need a racket strung.  In the text, I'll want your name, the type of string you want, and the tension you'd like.  I have 3 types of string with descriptions and prices below.  If you're not sure on tension let me know and we'll figure it out.  If you're a West Ottawa student, you can drop it off at school to me.  If not, I'll text you my address.

Stringing Options

Picture

Gamma Synthetic Gut $25

Synthetic gut string is easier on your elbow/arm than a polyester string.  Players on the middle school, Junior Varsity team, and adult recreational players should probably be playing with a synthetic gut string.  Varsity players with compact swings should also use a synthetic gut string.

Solinco Tour Bite $30

Polyester strings offer more spin potential than a synthetic gut string, PROVIDED you take a big full swing.  I (Coach Pete) currently use this string because of the amount of spin I can get from it.

Babolat RPM Blast $35

Also a polyester string, this is a common string used on the Pro Tour.  Rafael Nadal, Sophia Kenin, Dominic Theim, Felix Auger-Aliassime, and Anett Kontaviet are just a few players using this specific string.  The only downside in my opinion is price.  Again, only use a polyester string if you take a big full swing.  If you have a compact swing, use the Gamma Synthetic Gut...you'll save $10 and it'l be a little easier on your arm.

You provide your own string $15

There are probably a thousand different types of string, and some players like to provide their own.  If you provide your own string, we'll string it for $15.
