What a great end to the season! I am so proud of our girls for the season that we had. Harbor Lights Girls Tennis ended the season with a perfect 10-0 record. Our end of season party went fantastic as well.
I wanted to take a second to thank each and every player, parent, and family that was apart of the season that we had. We would not have had the success that we did without you.
To my 8th graders – Fantastic work. Make sure you are working very hard this offseason to keep getting better and better at tennis! Try to play indoors this winter if you can, it will help your tennis game immensely. I look forward to seeing you this summer at WOcademy as well. Remember, next year you will be playing for the JV or the Varsity Tennis Team, which takes a great deal of work. Our tennis program is strong and we want to continue to get better and better!
To my 7th graders – I am so excited that I get the chance to work with you again next year. For some of you this was your first time on a sports team and I hope it was a positive one. Make sure you are playing in the winter this year if you can. The additional practice, drills, and games you will play will make you a much better player. I look forward to seeing you this summer at WOcademy (which I am the director of). We are loosing a lot of really good 8th graders this year and I am looking for girls that want to put in the time to get awesome at tennis to step up and fill their spots. I hope that it is you! Looking forward to seeing you next year!
