Comments-This by FAR was the BEST effort all year by Harbor Lights.Only 2 flights lost overall and the 2 flights that did lose still battled to the very end in defeat.I was very proud of Sam Duckworth to come back from a 2-6 loss in the first set and bounce back to win the 2nd set 6-4 and force a super tiebreaker and never give up.Drew,great job winning in straights sets and holding off his opponent trying to mount a comeback.Great job Drew and Danny winning in a very close match against some very tough opponents you had to face.Way to stay calm and win that battle.Collin and Jon,great job in your win in straight sets.Way to stay focused and dominate your opponent.Tucker and Nick,great job in winning in straight sets and making quality shots! Mike and Sam,way to dig yourselves out of an 0-5 hole and ROAR back to win 8-5!!! Comebacks like that one build character and a tenacity that you're never "dead in the water" in a match and not intimidated and scared falling behind! Sean and Brendan,great win and working together as new doubles partners for this match! Braden and Aaron,great effort in a very exciting match that was tied 5-5 at deuce for both teams.All 4 of you kids played your hearts out,and to see ANY match to be that competitive and close is truly what it's all about no matter who wins or loses.Kyle and Dan,great job winning your match coming back from a 4-5 deficit and winning your last 2 games to win the match!! That is great stuff to see for fans and as a coach! That "never die" attitude will carry over some momentum and confidence going into our next match.Brennar and Paul,great job winning your match CONVINCINGLY 8-0!! You guys are a GREAT doubles team who are consistant with good play,great communication,and never losing focus when you play.Axel and Branden,great job as new doubles partners and DOMINATING your match winning 6-0!! You guys continue to IMPRESS me with showing me IMPROVEMENT and a "knack" to return shot after shot after shot and driving the other team nuts!!Christian and Cody,GREAT WIN for both of you guys!! It was a GREAT thing to see some things "cleaned up" in both of your games-getting your serves in and not double faulting,and not trying to kill your return shots and keep them in play to FORCE the other team to HAVE to return it back.GREAT JOB and HUGE WIN especially for Christian to finally get "over the hump"and get a W.This win will give you CONFIDENCE and ERASE the DOUBT you have had thinking "when am I finally going to win a match?? The doubt is OVER! You CAN DO IT!!You PROVED IT and you EARNED IT! David and Matthew,I couldn't be more PROUD of you as a coach.You guys had something to PROVE after losing 2-6 last week versus HC.You guys showed more POISE,more DETERMINATION,and more FOCUS in winning BIG 6-1!!
