Thanks to everyone who participated in the Turkey Tournament this weekend. With ten people from West Ottawa involved, we competed with all the top area teams in participation. Congrats to Rilie Du Shane for beating a seeded player in the girls 18's. Also, congrats to Nick Schnobel for winning the boys 14 backdraw. We had people playing a USTA tournament for the very first time, and it's great to see new people getting involved. I played Mixed Doubles with Lynn Bender and advanced to the Semi's, before finally losing to a better team than me. Thanks to all the parents/players who were out there cheering me on; I appreciated it!
