Wow, this day just keeps getting better and better! Girls, you were simply fantastic. Today you won the Second Regional Title ever for the Women's Tennis program. I could feel all of your energy all day long from the hundreds of texts that came flowing in. Pam and I felt like we were right there with you. Today was already the best day of my life, and you girls found a way to make it even better. I can't wait to see you all next week and celebrate with you!!!
Please email me all your pictures from today. I want to get them on the site for you. And selfishly, I want to see your smiling faces holding up that trophy! As results from the regional get sent my way, I'll get them posted to the site as well. Girls, I hope you understand how big of a day this was for our program. This is probably one of the top 3 best performances ever for the Women's Tennis team. I'm very proud of you girls.
I'd like to throw out a special thanks to Coach Matt, Logan, and Donna. All day long I knew we were in good hands. Parents, thanks for all you did to make this day possible. You've taken these girls to lessons, drills, tournaments, etc. for years so days like today could happen. It takes a lot of people working together, and when it happens, it's beautiful.
Here's a rundown of our upcoming schedule:
Friday: Rest Day, No practice.
Monday: Rest day, No practice.
Tuesday -Friday: Practice after school. (I will begin working on setting up a scrimmage for us one of these days. When I get it set, I'll post it on the site)
For those of you looking for a Landon update, the post below has info on him. He is doing very well and we have introduced him to many relatives today! He must have gotten many of Pam's genes, because he's very good looking.
Have a great weekend everyone. For those going to prom, have fun but be safe. You'll have your whole life to do stupid things, don't feel the need to do them on Friday night!
